Elected Officials Program
Our annual workshop for elected municipal officials is offered in conjunction with the Montana Municipal Institute for Clerks, Treasurers, & Finance Officers and also the Jim Tillotson Service Program for City Attorneys. This 3-day program addresses timely issues and aims to build a shared understanding of respective roles and responsibilities.
Many Montana clerks, treasurers and finance officers are members of MMCT&FOA. The association provides a structured group that offers support, guidance, and training opportunities to fellow members throughout the year.
If you would like to become a member, please visit the MMCT&FOA website.
For those who wish to earn an IIMC international Certified Municipal Clerk certification or an APT international Public Finance Administrator certification, the Montana Municipal Institute provides the necessary training to complete the education portion of the accreditation requirements.
