Montana Municipal Elected Officials Workshop
The Montana Municipal Elected Officials Workshop is designed to enhance the capacity of local government officials to serve effectively, professionally and efficiently in municipal government. In addition to helping mayors and council/commission members learn about their roles and responsibilities as elected officials, the workshop also provided pertinent information about emerging issues and opportunities of importance to local governance.
The workshop is held annually in conjunction with the Montana Municipal Institute for Clerks, Treasurers, & Finance Officers and the Jim Tillotson Service Program for city attorneys. Associating the program with these events allows for interaction between city attorneys and officials of both the executive and legislative branches of local government.
